It’s never too late to be fit and healthy. As we get older, physical exercise becomes increasingly important for our physical and mental health. You can get involved in a range of different sports at RecWest Braybrook.

Social table tennis
Table tennis is a great way to exercise, improve your hand-eye coordination and have fun with friends!
It is played inside by two or four people. Players stand at each end of a table which has a low net across the middle and hit a small light ball over the net, using small bats.
At RecWest Braybrook, we run casual table tennis sessions every Tuesday and Thursday.
We provide all equipment, so you can focus on having fun – and mastering that serve!
Ages: Our sessions are suitable for older adults, however anyone is welcome.
When: Tuesday and Thursday nights, 8:00pm – 10:00pm -
Social pickleball
Pickleball is a fantastic way to stay active, enhance your reflexes, and enjoy some friendly competition!
It is played on a court similar to a badminton court, with a lower net. Players use paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball over the net, with games typically played in doubles, but singles are also common.
At RecWest Braybrook, we host casual pickleball sessions every Monday and Wednesday.
We provide all the necessary equipment, so you can concentrate on having fun – and perfecting your swing!
Ages: Our sessions are suitable for older adults, but everyone is welcome to join in.
When: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00am – 1:00pm -
