RecWest Braybrook’s junior badminton program introduces kids aged 5 to 12 years to the sport of badminton.
Junior badminton focuses on helping young players understand foundational skills such as how to grip a racquet, different serves and strokes, and footwork and stance.
The program is a great way for your child to learn something new in a fun and supportive environment.
5 to 8 years badminton

7 to 12 years badminton
This class is encouraged if they are aged seven or eight and have some experience. if they haven't had much experience, it is strongly encouraged the participant joins the 5 to 8 years program.

How to book junior badminton
- Login to your online customer portal account.
- If you do not have an account, select 'Join or book now' and follow the prompts.
- Add a student (required if you are booking a child for the first time).
- Navigate to 'My accounts'.
- Navigate to 'Friends and family'.
- Select 'Add family member'.
- Select 'Casual bookings'.
- Select 'Next'.
- Select 'Create a free guest account'.
- Select 'Next'.
- Complete the child's details.
- Select 'Next'.
- Choose your time.
- Select 'Book'.
- Select ‘Sports programs / Gymnastics’.
- Use the filter to select your relevant age.
- Use the timetable to find your preferred day and time.
- Select 'Book now'.
- In the pop-up window select 'Book now' next to the student’s name.
- Login to your online customer portal account.

Booking conditions
Absent sessions will result in a forfeiture of the class. No refunds are available.

Junior program cancellation request form
Please note that your cancelation request will only be actioned and processed if you have an ongoing membership and you have exceeded the minimum contract length of 12 weeks. If you are still within this period, you will need to process all future payments for this to be processed. There is also a 2-week cancelation policy and your membership will end 14 days after it has been approved. Your enrolment should be deemed active until notified by the centre staff and have received official confirmation from the facility.
